It’s …STAT TIME! Prince Rupert / Port Edward Real Estate (as of Sept 30, 2015)

Prince Rupert / Port Edward Real Estate (as of Sept 30)

There were 95 more properties sold last year than this year, as of the end of September. However, properties are still selling, just not at the rate and degree they were last year.

Overall, I believe purchasing has slowed down in large part due to buyers requiring a more clear and positive outlook of the LNG projects proposed in our region, before they move forward. Combined with this is the upcoming Federal Election, as many are waiting to see the outcome on October 19th.
